Pastor, Principal, Teacher Award
The Pastor, Principal, Teacher Award includes students in grades 2-6.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program
Students in grades 5 and 6 may participate in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program at HCCS. Students serve as mentors to the children in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. Big Brothers and Big Sisters provide guidance and set a good example at school events and during school activities.
Children’s Liturgies (Masses)
Students in grades pre-kindergarten through 6th grade participate in the Children’s Mass every Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. Parents and all other interested parties are welcome to attend. Classes take turns “hosting” the Mass. This includes doing the readings, taking the gifts, serving as ushers, and volunteering as altar servers. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students host the Mass after the first semester to allow them time to learn more about it.
The Holy Cross Student Council teaches our students responsibility, communication, and leadership skills. The student representatives work closely with their own classmates and with the school as a whole. They learn how to work together as a team and how to value the opinions of others. They also learn how to listen and unify various views and ideas.
