Transportation DEPARTMENT

At HCCS, we’re proud to offer safe, reliable transportation to our students and staff. We take measures to ensure the safety of all occupants in our buses and district vehicles. Our students listen to the bus driver and follow the rules at all times. Our bus drivers all possess their Commercial Driver’s License and have passed the State Bus Driver Certification. Our vehicles receive regular maintenance and safety inspections. Please contact our office with any questions.

Bus Safety RULES

  1. Students are ready to board when the bus arrives.
  2. Students obey the driver promptly and respectfully.
  3. Students do not bring dangerous items.
  4. Students remain on their seat while the bus is in motion.
  5. Students do not fight, tease, or bully.
  6. Students do not damage or deface any part of the bus.
  7. Students do not spit in the bus.
  8. Students do not eat on the bus, unless approved by the driver.
  9. Students do not chew gum on the bus.
  10. Students do not bring pets/animals on the bus.
  11. Students keep arms, legs, and head inside the bus at all times.
  12. Students sit in their assigned seat.
  13. Students respect the bus driver and other students.
